In January 2000, San Diego Symphony Board Member, Lael Kovtun envisioned a group of music lovers establishing relationships with Symphony conducting staff, musicians and staff members. These Symphony Stars have become an integral part of the San Diego Symphony family and today maintain a membership of approximately 150.
